Is it possible to have alarms turned on by default for certain calendar records?

The default settings for calendar records are controlled by the Calendar Code used for the record. Alarm times can be defined on the Calendar Code, which then carry over to the calendar entry when the calendar code is selected.

To add an alarm to a Calendar Code

  1. From the Calendar menu, select Calendar Code File.
  2. From the List tab, select the desired Calendar Code.
  3. From the Calendar Code tab, select the desired Alarm Time.
  4. Press Ctrl+S.

Going forward, when you create a calendar record using this Calendar Code, it will use the Calendar Code’s default alarm time.
