KB Corner: All About Verification Lists

May 2016    Tags: , , , , ,

You close the Fee Entry window in Tabs3 Billing and the Fee Verification List window comes up. Do you automatically click Cancel? Verification lists make it easy to confirm what activities have been done by whom in the software. Many firms review these on a regular basis, verifying which transactions have been added, changed, and deleted by the users in the firm. Verification Lists can be generated for much more than fees; there are more than 15 different verification lists in Tabs3, Accounts Payable Software (APS), General Ledger Software (GLS), and Trust Accounting Software (TAS).

Knowledge Base Article R10793, “All About Verification Lists,” provides detailed information about the various verification lists available in the software including a breakdown of verification lists, how to enable or disable optional verification lists, which verification lists are temporary, how to delete verification lists, a complete list of all verification lists, and much more.

Our Knowledge Base can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at support.Tabs3.com. You can also access our Knowledge Base while in the software by selecting Help | Internet Resources | Knowledge Base.

Is there a way to increase the font size on printed verification lists? We can increase the size in the Preview window but when printed the print is tiny.

    • Hi Sandy,

Thanks for your comment! The font size can be enlarged by printing the report as landscape, removing optional columns, or changing the font size or margins via Print Setup. The FAQ “The font used on some of our reports is too small. What can we do?” in Knowledge Base Article R10469, “Frequently Asked Questions About Printing” here: http://support.tabs3.com/main/R10469.htm, provides more information on these options.
