PracticeMaster Q&A: Calendar Maintenance

We have reorganized our firm, and some users are showing up in new calendar records when selecting group to which they no longer belong. How can I get a list of the users belonging to each group so I know which groups we need to edit?

Calendar Groups in PracticeMaster are configured and maintained in System Configuration. You can print a Group List that includes all groups and the users that belong to each group.

To print a Group List in System Configuration

  1. From the Reports menu, select Group List.
  2. Select the desired printer and click OK or Preview.

Once the Group List has been reviewed, you can remove users from the necessary groups.

To remove a user from a group in System Configuration

  1. From the File menu, point to Open and select Group.
  2. Select the desired Group ID.
  3. In the Users in the Group section, click the check mark next to each user you want to exclude from the selected group. Clicking the check mark will remove the check mark.
  4. Press Ctrl+S.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for each group from which you are removing users.

Note: Users must close and reopen PracticeMaster for the group changes to take effect. Changes made to groups do not affect existing calendar entries.
