PracticeMaster Q&A: Increasing Font Size in the Program

December 2018    Tags: ,

I know that we can change the font size in Memo fields, but we have a few employees who want to change the overall font size in the software. Is there a way to do this?

Yes! We have added two new ways to change the font size in Version 19.

  • You can now change the text size used in windows, menus, page tabs, lists, and messages within the Tabs3 and PracticeMaster software. This change affects all software for your user only.
  • You can now change the font face and font size of individual PracticeMaster files using Form Designer. This change affects all users.

To change the text size throughout the software

  1. From the View menu, select Theme Settings.
  2. On the Text Size tab, select the desired Text Size.
  3. Click OK.

Note: This setting will take effect after the software has been closed and reopened.

To change the font face and/or font size on PracticeMaster form layouts

  1. Open the desired file.
  2. From the Edit Menu, select Form Designer.
  3. Click the FD_ContolPanel (Control Panel) icon.
  4. In the Form Designer Control Panel Window select one of the following:
    1. Default Font
    2. Classic Font (8pt MS San Serif)
    3. Custom Font
      1. When selecting Custom Font, click the Select button.
      2. Select the desired Font face and Size.
      3. Click OK.
  5. Optionally select the Apply Font to All PracticeMaster Files check box.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click the FD_RunForm (Run Form) icon.
