I need to find out which contacts were involved with a specific client matter. Is there a report that provides this information?

The Contact Usage Report will display every contact that is associated with the selected matter.

To run the Contact Usage Report

  1. From the File menu, point to Open and select Client.
  2. Select the client for which you want to generate the report.
  3. From the Quick Clicks, in the Report group, select Contact Usage (No Duplicates).

The Contact Usage Report will display the Contact ID, as well as the files and fields in which the contacts are found.
