PracticeMaster Q&A: Prioritizing Task Records

Users at our firm create multiple task records in PracticeMaster for the same day. Is there a way that PracticeMaster can prioritize the tasks?

When creating task records in PracticeMaster, the Priority field can be used to select the importance of the task. The Priority field and the Task List tab of Calendar Properties determine what order tasks appear in the Task List in the Calendar and in the Task List feature. A priority of 0 to 9 can be specified, where 0 is the highest and 9 is the lowest.

To specify a priority on a task

  1. In the Quick Launch, search for and select “Calendar File.”
  2. Press Ctrl+N to create a new task, or open an existing task.
  3. In the Priority field, select the desired priority.
  4. Enter or edit any other information as needed.
  5. Press Ctrl+S.

Note: The Priority field is not available on Event type calendar records.
