February 2022    Tags: , ,

Is there any way to set up my Daily Calendar to display colored events and tasks based on the user?

You can set up users to have a color assigned to their calendar records via System Configuration and then specify in the PracticeMaster Calendar Properties to display those colors.

To specify user colors in System Configuration

  1. From the File menu, point to Open and select Users.
  2. Select the desired User ID.
  3. In the Options section, in the Colors used for PracticeMaster Calendar entries field, click the drop-down arrow.
  4. Select the desired colors for the Background and Text and click OK.
  5. Press Ctrl+S.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for each user.

To specify event color based on User ID in PracticeMaster

  1. In the Quick Launch, search for and select “Calendar Properties.”
  2. On the General tab, in the Event Colors section, select the Event Colors are based on User ID information option.
  3. Click OK.

Note: If a user does not have a color assigned, their Calendar entries will be displayed with a white background and black text.
