Billing Q&A: Viewing Payment Adjustments

I need to see a list of payment adjustments that have been made for a particular client, along with the original payment amounts. Is there a report I can run that will show me this?

If you run the Detail Cash Receipts report with the Payment Adjustments option selected, you will see an asterisk next to the original payment amounts and a list of adjustments below. Beginning in Version 2021, when running the Cash Receipts report, you can now click on the payment or the adjustment to view a Payment page. This page includes the original amount, the amount adjusted, and more.

To run the Detail Cash Receipts Report

  1. From the Reports menu, point to Management and select Cash Receipts Report.
  2. Enter the Client ID for the client that has had their payment adjusted.
  3. On the Options tab, in the Type section, select Detail.
  4. In the Include section, select the Payment Adjustments check box.
  5. Click OK.
