We are excited to let you know that we have new features available in Tabs3 Version 2026 (Build 26.2)! This release adds new filtering and reporting tools to Tabs3 Billing, plus a redesigned Tabs3 Connect for Tabs3 Cloud subscribers.

Tabs3 Billing
  • Added a virtual Autopay field to the Client File, allowing users to filter and display only clients with Tabs3 Pay Autopay enabled and add the field to custom column layouts.
  • Updated the Statement Manager and Matter Manager to display Statement Review Comments for Updated Statements.
  • Updated the Transaction File List to support exporting Comma Delimited reports as a .csv file and added a new option to export directly to Excel (.xlsx) with clean, structured columns ready for use.
Tabs3 Billing & PracticeMaster – Tabs3 Cloud only
  • Added the ability to use an AI Assistant when creating a filter in any Tabs3 Billing or PracticeMaster list. Describe the filter you want in plain language, and the AI Filter Assistant builds it for you. You can refine the filter through follow-up messages in the same chat.
Tabs3 Connect – Tabs3 Cloud only
  • Added a completely redesigned version of Tabs3 Connect for Tabs3 Cloud subscribers, rebuilt from the ground up with a new interface and expanded functionality.
    • Attorney Dashboard – A new home screen showing today’s calendar, your open tasks, your worked hours, and billable totals at a glance.
    • Matter Manager – The redesigned Matter Manager presents accounts receivable (A/R), work-in-process, trust balances, and client funds in an updated layout, with quick access to Fees, Costs, Contacts, Journal, Documents, and Calendar records for the selected matter.
    • Sidebar Navigation – A new sidebar provides navigation to every page of the application.
    • Quick Entry – Fees and costs can be added from anywhere using a redesigned entry window, with Save and New for rapid entry and a Detail toggle to show or hide advanced fields.
    • List Views – New list views display each record type in a sortable, filterable grid, with all fields and actions available from a single page.
